ProFit X “NBA’s New A.I.”

In the basketball industry we all search for real time data and projections through different resources and personal connections with player agents, general managers, CEO’s, and especially data analytic personnel. There has been a lack of detailed and accurate “projections” with active players injury/performance history and results compiled from their playing career.

Synergy Sports Tech has been a great platform at giving us real past game footage with statistical data and analytics regarding a players performance result at almost every level of competition. It uses result driven data but it cant provide player projections from the past/present results in relation to their current contract value and projected contract value. To fill that void, a revolutionary software has arrived, and upon its release, it will shock the basketball world.

Welcome “ProFit X”

For over a decade I have worked with a lot of agents, I’ve been able to establish a personal brotherhood-type relationship, and Joshua Ebrahim is one of them. Witnessing Josh veer off the NBA agent industry to create this software platform that is accessible and usable to not only NBA teams and agents, but soon for the average NBA fan. I am honored to be apart of this start up as it opens up prime discussions on players value and their projected opportunities. To see his hard work and effort from the past couple of years come into fruition is no surprise because of the passion he has for the game and its loyal participants.

Talking to Ebrahim, he gives an overlay to how ProFitX technology can help agents and general managers in the contract negotiation process. Ebrahim says “It’s a ‘moneyball’ in a box. When I look at the data that is out there, it doesn’t tell me the story of that player from a business perspective, because that’s what professional sports is, business. Athletes need to know what they are worth and where they can maximize their value. Not every guy is going to get max money because of the cap. Our real-time contract value is not biased toward the athlete or the team, we have no skin in the game except creating transparency. It is pure data that is fair and consistent for every athlete and team that creates a real-time contract value as a baseline to start with.

Agents being able to access the AI insights on athlete performance, development trajectory, potential projections, identifying the optimal team fit, and evaluating current and future contract values can only enhance the athlete’s bargaining position when that time comes. For professional teams, the leverage in negotiations is with them 90 percent of the time. Teams are always going to try to pay the lowest amount possible for an athlete that fits a specific role on that team and hope he over performs on a team friendly deal to keep cap flexibility to build their rosters competitively in the next 5 years.”

The ATHLEDEX

Set to launch to market in a couple of weeks following beta testing and pilot programs with NBA Teams and Sports Agencies, ProFitX is offering early access currently. Ebrahim created the Athledex for anyone in the sports ecosystem. Ebrahim plans to invest resources into his R & D department and continuing to enhance the NBA Athledex and develop the NBA Fandex, followed by the FIFA and NFL Athledex by the end of Q3 2021.
